Governor Babagana Zulum of Borno State has strongly condemned a suicide assault on the Gamboru Market Mosque in Maiduguri metropolis on Wednesday night.
A suspected suicide bomber reportedly infiltrated the mosque whereas worshippers have been observing the Maghrib prayer, killing 5 folks and injuring 35 others.
Zulum, who conveyed his condolences from the frontline in northern Borno by his Particular Adviser on Media, Dauda Iliya, referred to as for elevated vigilance and heightened safety measures, significantly at locations of worship in the course of the festive interval.
