American rapper, Yung Miami has accused South African singer, Tyla, of stealing her tune.
The hip-hop star made the allegation after Tyla teased her upcoming single ‘Chanel’ on social media on Thursday.
Yung Miami claimed that she performed her unreleased tune titled ‘Chanel’ for Tyla and he or she stole the concept.
Expressing her disappointment, the rapper stated seeing the South African singer teased a tune just like her tune made her emotionally downcast.
“This woman actually ran off with my tune and I don’t know the right way to really feel about it. Thoughts you, I performed this tune for this woman,” she lamented.
Responding to a fan, Yung Miami confirmed that she was referring to Tyla.
Yung Miami’s allegations have sparked a recent debate about mental property theft and the dynamic of the connection between Afro-American artists and African artists.
In the meantime, Tyla has but to react to the allegations.
