Nigerian singer, Reekado Banks has revealed that his colleague, Wizkid, regretted insulting him for asserting music launch amid EndSARS protests in October 2020.
DAILY POST recollects that Reekado Banks and Wizkid fell out after the latter blasted the previous for asserting the discharge of the collaborative music, ‘Omo Olomo’ amid the EndSARS motion.
Wizkid’s response shocked many as he referred to as Reekado Banks a “idiot” and “clout animal.”
Revisiting their public fallout in a latest interview on The Esther Present, Reekado Banks defined that it was his administration who insisted on releasing the music at the moment regardless of his preliminary opposition it.
He said that Wizkid visited him not too long ago they usually reconciled, stressing that the Starboy boss “was a bit grateful about it.”
He mentioned Wizkid admitted that his response was a bit edgy.
Banks mentioned, “Not too long ago he [Wizkid] came over my restaurant. We had a bit speak and he was a bit regretful about it. He was like he shouldn’t have gone that route. He talked about his behaviour in direction of Don Jazzy as nicely.
“He was like we’re three individuals within the sport [music industry] who not too long ago misplaced our mothers. And he feels sorry about that point, so, we’re good now.”
