ABUJA — The Commerce Union Congress (TUC) of Nigeria on Monday urged the Dangote Group to handle complaints raised by its affiliate unions or threat a nationwide shutdown by organized labour.
In an announcement signed by TUC President, Comrade Festus Osifo, and Secretary-Normal, Dr. Nuhu Toro, the congress mentioned it had acquired reviews from the Petroleum and Pure Gasoline Senior Workers Affiliation of Nigeria (PENGASSAN) and the Nigeria Union of Petroleum and Pure Gasoline Employees (NUPENG) regarding alleged unresolved labour points throughout the group.
The TUC additionally famous that the Chemical and Non-Metallic Merchandise Senior Workers Affiliation of Nigeria (CANMPSSAN) and the Textile, Garment and Tailoring Senior Workers Affiliation of Nigeria (TGTSSAN) had raised comparable considerations.
