The African Democratic Congress, ADC, has stated it’s too early to determine who turns into its 2027 presidential candidate.
Bolaji Abdullahi, ADC interim Nationwide Publicity Secretary, stated it’s centered on constructing a robust political social gathering.
Talking in Abuja on Saturday, Abdullahi stated the ADC has no most popular presidential candidate.
He stated: “We don’t have any favorite aspirants or candidates. We’re not having any dialog in the meanwhile.
“No person has ever had any dialog about who would be the social gathering’s flag bearer.
“We imagine that it’s too early within the day. Our focus now could be to construct a political social gathering that’s robust sufficient to ship on the mission that we have now set for ourselves.”
At the moment, three names are rumoured to be inquisitive about ADC’s presidential ticket.
These names embrace former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, former Labour Occasion presidential candidate Peter Obi, and former Minister of Transportation Rotimi Amaechi.
Regardless of permutations, the three key members of the coalition are but to brazenly declare their intentions.
