LAGOS — Voting commenced early Saturday on the polling unit of Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, positioned at Ward E3, St. Stevens Nursery and Main College, Adeniji Adele, Lagos Island, whilst the encircling streets remained largely abandoned.
Electoral officers from the Lagos State Impartial Electoral Fee (LASIEC) arrived on the polling unit a couple of minutes after 8:00 a.m., signaling the beginning of the Native Authorities Elections throughout the state.
