The ladies-banking arm of First Metropolis Monument Financial institution (FCMB), SheVentures, has signed a partnership with the Girls Enterprise Alliance (WENA) to assist the expansion and sustainability of women-led companies within the North Central area of Nigeria.
The collaboration is designed to empower over 150 women-led small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) throughout native, state, and regional ranges, by means of entry to finance, market alternatives, capability constructing, and enterprise growth. As a part of the initiative, the highest three SMEs rising from the regional applications will obtain enterprise grants of as much as N5 million from chosen traders and companions.
Talking through the signing ceremony, Nnenna Jacob-Ogogo, Group Head, SheVentures at FCMB, mentioned, “this partnership displays our continued dedication to unlocking the potential of girls entrepreneurs throughout Nigeria.
“At SheVentures, we consider empowering girls economically is likely one of the quickest methods to drive inclusive development and neighborhood growth. Along with WENA, we’ll make sure that girls within the North Central area have the funds, the instruments, abilities, and publicity wanted to thrive,” she acknowledged.
