    Shell Celebrates 47 Former Employees In Lagos

    Retired workers of Shell Nigeria celebrated a reunion at an annual golf event held of their honour by Shell Exploration and Manufacturing Firm Restricted (SNEPCo) on the picturesque Lakowe Golf Course in Lekki, Lagos.

    A complete of 47 former workers teed off on the 4th annual golf event and have been joined by SNEPCo management led by managing director, Ronald Adams and his spouse, Pleashette Adams.

    The tee-off was collectively carried out by mnaging director of Shell Closed Pension Fund, Ehis Uzenabora alongside former Shell leaders: Egbert Imomoh, former Deputy Managing Director of SPDC; Jimmy Ahmed, former Enterprise and Authorities Director; and Simbi Wabote, former Shell Director and speedy previous Government Secretary of the Nigerian Content material Growth and Monitoring Board (NCDMB).

    On the course, aggressive spirit met seasoned talent. Dr Okuns Ohiosimuan emerged because the Total Male Winner, enjoying off a handicap of 35 to return a powerful web rating of 63 (-9). Within the women’ class, Justina Dibua claimed the Total Feminine Winner title with a handicap of 31 and a web rating of 77 (+5). These awards have been introduced by Ron.

    The Male and Feminine Runner-up prizes went to Claude Esekody and Kate Iyamu respectively, introduced by Mutiu Sunmonu, former Managing Director of SPDC and Nation Chair, Shell Firms in Nigeria.

    “This occasion is not only about golf; it’s about celebrating the individuals who laid the inspiration of our success,” Ron mentioned. “Our retirees stay an integral a part of the Shell household, and initiatives like this replicate our dedication to wellness, inclusion, and enduring relationships.”

    Mutiu Sunmonu described the event as “superior and refreshing,” praising the chance for retirees to reconnect. “It was heartwarming to see former colleagues share reminiscences and luxuriate in wholesome competitors. The bonds constructed over a long time clearly endure,” he famous.

    In his closing remarks, retiree Rowland Ukpedor mentioned: “Even in retirement, the spirit of golf and the friendships it fosters by no means fade,” and thanked Shell “for creating such a memorable expertise and continued assist in selling wellbeing of retirees, sportsmanship and comradeship”
