    Sanwo-Olu to LG bosses: No room for pettiness, politicking

    LAGOS — GOVERNOR Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State, yesterday, directed the newly elected native authorities and Native Council Growth Areas, LCDAs, to droop appointments of government members for 60 days pending conclusion of wants evaluation of the respective councils.

    Governor Sanwo-Olu additionally urged the council bosses to see their electoral victory as a mandate to enhance grassroots growth.

    The Governor made the remarks on the swearing in and Oath-Taking Ceremony of the newly elected Council Chairmen and Vice Chairmen in Lagos State held on the Sports activities Floor, Governor’s Workplace, Lagos Home in Ikeja.
