    S-west govs to FG: State police, forest guards ‘ll curb insecurity

    IBADAN — FOLLOWING the rise in insecurity, the South-West Governors’ Discussion board, yesterday, declared that the institution of State Police “can not be delayed” simply because it unveiled a brand new regional safety structure to guard lives and property within the area.

    Assembly contained in the Government Chamber of the Governor’s Workplace, Secretariat in Ibadan, the governors deliberated extensively on safety, financial improvement, agriculture and regional integration.

    These in attendance had been Governors Dapo Abiodun (Ogun), Biodun Oyebanji (Ekiti), Fortunate Aiyedatiwa (Ondo), Babajide Sanwo-Olu (Lagos), Seyi Makinde (Oyo), and Ademola Adeleke of Osun State, who was represented by his deputy, Prince Kola Adewusi.

    Ogun orders registration of international nationals
