Former Labour Occasion governorship candidate in Lagos State, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, has alleged that the federal authorities is attempting to create a one-party state.
Rhodes-Vivour made this assertion on Sunday whereas responding to questions in an interview on Politics Right now, a programme on Channels Tv.
He charged Nigerians and political actors to stand up and oppose the plans.
“Opposition events are attempting to collect and have conferences and they’re being met with violence. From Kaduna to Gombe. Similar to what occurred in Lagos yesterday.
“If you wish to speak about large concepts in politics, one can find that the federal authorities and state governments seemingly wish to create a one-party state.
“If Nigerians and political actors don’t resist that, what’s the assure there will probably be an election at this charge,” he requested.
