Lawmakers stood in unison, bowing their heads in prayer for the souls of Victor Moro, the senator’s son who died in a automotive crash on October 18 alongside the Mararaba axis in Nasarawa State, and Abba Moro Jr., his younger grandson who handed away simply days earlier.
Victor, who had just lately returned from his research in Turkey and was set to start the Nationwide Youth Service Corps (NYSC), was reportedly en route for private engagements when his automobile collided head-on with a rushing articulated truck.
In a letter dated October 20, 2025, Rep. Agbese described the tragedies as “heartbreaking losses” which have plunged the Moro household and the Benue South Senatorial District into deep grief.
