Former federal lawmakers from Kano State have endorsed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for a second time period and Deputy President of the Senate, Barau Jibrin, for the Kano State governorship forward of the 2027 normal elections.
The endorsement was introduced in an announcement signed by Ismail Mudashir, Particular Adviser to the Deputy President of the Senate on Media and Publicity, following a courtesy go to by the previous lawmakers to Senator Barau in Abuja on Friday.
Talking on behalf of the delegation, Hon. Umar Sadiq, who represented Kumbotso Federal Constituency between 1979 and 1983, stated the endorsement was a unanimous choice of the discussion board.
