    PDP alleges abduction of candidate, 25 supporters in Kaduna

    Kaduna -The Peoples Democratic Get together (PDP) in Kaduna State has accused safety operatives of abducting its Home of Representatives candidate for the Chikun/Kajuru Federal Constituency bye-election, Princess Esther Ashivelli Dawaki, together with 25 supporters.

    At a press convention held on Saturday in Kaduna, the state PDP Chairman, Sir Edward Percy Masha, alleged that the operation was carried out by a joint safety community.

    In response to him, the safety personnel stormed the lodge in Malali in a bid to arrest the Chairman of the PDP Marketing campaign Council, Hon. Hussein Ahmed-Kero, however after they couldn’t discover him, they allegedly whisked away Dawaki and others.

    “The PDP condemns this brazen act of harassment, intimidation, and madness by the APC and calls for the instant and unconditional launch of its candidate and all others being held hostage,” Masha informed journalists.

    He additional referred to as on President Bola Tinubu, the Inspector-Basic of Police, the DSS Director-Basic, the Chief of Military Workers, and the Chief of Defence Workers to intervene and halt what he described as an “egregious abuse of energy.”

    The PDP chairman urged civil society organizations, democracy advocates, and residents to withstand any try to intimidate voters or compromise the electoral course of within the affected constituencies.

    Masha stated the ruling APC resorted to intimidation as a result of it fears electoral defeat.”The APC’s actions sign that the social gathering is heading in the direction of rejection, therefore its resort to this present of pressure, akin to the final kick of a dying horse. However no quantity of intimidation can save the APC from being rejected by the folks,” he declared.

    The PDP assured its supporters that it could stay resolute in defending their rights and freedoms whereas conserving the general public up to date on developments.
