The Osun State Home of Meeting, on Wednesday handed the 2026 appropriation invoice of N723,454,988,670.00 after exhaustive deliberation.
The Speaker of the Home, Mr Adewale Egbedun whereas describing the feat as a milestone for the State’s fiscal planning for 2026, he reiterated the lawmakers dedication to safeguarding the curiosity of the folks.
In a press release issued by his spokesperson, Olamide Tiamiyu, he mentioned the finances, which was tagged, “Funds of Financial Transformation,” was handed after detailed consideration by the Home committee on Finance ane inputs from the varied ministries, division and businesses.
“The income estimates for the 2026 finances embrace a gap stability of ₦16,192,300,490.00, recurrent income of ₦421,253,229,320.00, and capital receipts of ₦286,009,458,860.00. This brings the full influx to ₦723,454,988,670.00.
“On the expenditure facet, the finances allocates ₦135,005,722,430.00 for personnel prices and ₦185,768,933,880.00 for different recurrent expenditures.
“The subtotal for recurrent expenditure is due to this fact ₦320,774,356,310.00. Capital expenditure has been set at ₦402,680,332,360.00, bringing the full outflow to ₦723,454,988,670.00”, he mentioned.
He added that the appropriation invoice, as handed, can be transmitted to Governor for assent.
The 2026 finances was introduced to the Home on November 12, by the State Governor, Ademola Jackson Adeleke and It was designed to advertise sustainable improvement, improve infrastructure, enhance social companies, and strengthen key sectors similar to training, healthcare, agriculture, and financial empowerment.
