The Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Fee (NUPRC) has warned the general public towards actions of fraudulent people who peddle contract affords purportedly on its behalf.
A press release on Monday by Eniola Akinkuotu, Head, Company Communication and Media, NUPRC mentioned these unscrupulous people used techniques similar to name-dropping and misinformation on social media to deceive members of the general public.
In response to Akinkuotu, they achieve this with the only intention of extorting cash from them and are hereby warned to desist from such acts.
To set the file straight, he mentioned, all contract being processed on the NUPRC have been performed transparently and strictly consistent with the Public Procurement Act, 2007 and different extant rules.
“Due to this fact, anybody who transacts with a 3rd get together so as to achieve an imaginary undue benefit inside the NUPRC does so solely at their very own danger.
“For data on any procurement, go to the NUPRC web site – www.nuprc.gov.ng – or native newspapers for tenders to bid,” he warned.(NAN)
