The naira yesterday depreciated to N1,565 per greenback within the parallel market from N1,560 per greenback final weekend.
Equally, the Naira depreciated to N1,529.5 per greenback within the Nigerian Overseas Change Market (NFEM).
Knowledge revealed by the Central Financial institution of Nigeria, CBN, confirmed that the change price for the naira rose to N1,529.5 per greenback from N1,528.5 per greenback final weekend, indicating N1 depreciation for the naira.
Consequently, the margin between the parallel market and NFEM price widened to N35.5 per greenback from N31.5 per greenback final week.
