THE naira yesterday appreciated to N1,585 per greenback within the parallel market from N1,590 per greenback final weekend. Likewise, the Naira appreciated to N1,543 per greenback within the Nigerian International Alternate Market (NFEM).
Knowledge revealed by the Central Financial institution of Nigeria, CBN, confirmed that the change fee for the naira fell to N1,543 per greenback from N1,554 per greenback final week Friday, indicating N11 appreciation for the naira.
Consequently, the margin between the parallel market and NFEM fee narrowed to N26 per greenback from N36 per greenback final weekend.
