The Naira yesterday appreciated to N1,555 per greenback within the parallel market from N1,560 per greenback final weekend.
Equally, naira appreciated to N1,533.8 per greenback within the Nigerian International Alternate Market (NFEM).
Information printed by the Central Financial institution of Nigeria, CBN, confirmed that the alternate charge for the naira fell to N1,533.8 per greenback from N1,535.5 per greenback final weekend, indicating N1.7 appreciation for the naira.
Consequently, the margin between the parallel market and NFEM charge narrowed to N21.2 per greenback from N24.5 per greenback final week Friday.
