    Military committed to supporting regional development initiative – CDS

    The Armed Forces of Nigeria has reaffirmed its dedication to supporting regional improvement efforts as a strategic method to fostering lasting peace and nationwide stability.

    The Chief of Defence Workers (CDS), Gen. Christopher Musa, gave the dedication throughout a courtesy go to to the Minister of State for Regional Growth, Alhaji Maigari Ahmadu, on the Ministry’s headquarters in Abuja.

    That is contained in a press release by the Director of Defence Data, Brig.-Gen. Tukur Gusau, on Wednesday in Abuja.

    He stated the go to was geared toward fostering mutual understanding and strengthening civil-military cooperation for nationwide improvement.

    The CDS emphasised the robust hyperlink between peace and improvement, stressing that communities with extra improvement typically get pleasure from extra peace.

    He reaffirmed the Armed Forces of Nigeria’s (AFN) unwavering dedication to supporting the ministry’s regional initiatives and contributing meaningfully to nationwide progress.

    Musa expressed gratitude to the ministry for its help in coaching the Particular Forces to boost the operational capability of the army and enhance nationwide safety.

    He assured the ministry of continued collaboration and help from the Defence Headquarters to make sure it successfully delivers on its constitutional mandate.

    In his response, the minister described the go to as historic and praised the army for its sacrifices in safeguarding the unity and territorial integrity of Nigeria.

    He additionally paid tribute to the gallant officers and troopers who made the final word sacrifice in defence of the nation.

    Ahmadu lauded the army’s initiatives, notably its instructional help packages, together with the institution of colleges for kids of repentant insurgents.
