Afrobeat singer and grandson of legendary Fela Kuti, Made Kuti, has reacted to the damaging criticisms over his marriage to spouse Inedoye Onyenso.
DAILY POST recollects that Kuti tied the knot with Inedoye Onyenso at a civil wedding ceremony ceremony in Lagos in November 2023.
Their marriage has been subjected to criticisms by bigots who accused them of “mixing blood” as a consequence of their totally different ethnic backgrounds.
Reacting to a latest submit by an X person, @AdemolaOgudu, who referred to as him a “silly Yoruba man” for marrying an Igbo girl, Kuti said that “believing ethnic superiority/inferiority is justifiable is slave mentality.”
He urged his critics to enlighten themselves with “historical past and data left” by Pan-Africanists like his great-grandmother Funmilayo Ransome-Kuti, his grandfather Fela Kuti, Kwame Nkrumah, and Thomas Sankara.
He defined that Africa would achieve extra when united.
