Some Kwankwasiyya-affiliated youth teams in Kano State have declared their readiness to align politically with Governor Abba Yusuf, supplied the administration addresses what they describe as marginalisation and exclusion from governance.
At an engagement discussion board in Kano, held amid ongoing political realignments within the state, the youths made their place recognized on Saturday, stating that they weren’t against Governor Yusuf as a person however had been dissatisfied with what they termed the shortage of inclusion of younger folks in authorities programmes and decision-making.
Talking on behalf of the teams, Aminu Abdullahi, popularly referred to as Alhaji Warkal, defined that many youths who performed key roles within the success of the Kwankwasiyya Motion and the New Nigeria Peoples Social gathering (NNPP) through the 2023 basic elections felt deserted after victory.
