The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has introduced that the minimal cut-off mark for admission into Nigerian universities for the 2025 educational session is 150.
The choice was disclosed on the 2025 JAMB Coverage Assembly held in Abuja, chaired by the Minister of Schooling, Dr. Olatunji Alausa. The assembly introduced collectively schooling stakeholders to find out nationwide admission requirements for tertiary establishments.

Dr. Alausa pressured that no establishment is allowed to confess candidates beneath the accepted thresholds, warning of strict sanctions towards violators. JAMB Registrar Sounds Observe of Warning
Professor Ishaq Oloyede, JAMB Registrar, additionally gave stern warnings in the course of the assembly. He famous that any establishment that fails to submit its 2024 matriculation checklist is not going to be allowed to start 2025 admissions.
