    It’s unfair to exclude Tems from Afrobeats Big 3 – Tiwa Savage [VIDEO]

    Well-known Nigerian songstress Tiwa Savage has made a case for Tems after her identify was excluded from Afrobeats’ high three artistes.

    DAILY POST experiences that the time period ‘Huge 3’ is extensively used to discuss with the male trio Davido, Burna Boy, and Wizkid, who’re celebrated as Nigeria’s most dominant world musical exports.

    Nonetheless, questioning the factors utilized in choosing the ‘Huge 3’ within the business, Tiwa argued that the narrative turns a blind eye to the excellent achievements of main ladies within the Afrobeats style.

    Talking in an interview with BBC Radio 1Xtra, she challenged the exclusionary labelling of feminine singers and insisted that Tems deserves top-tier recognition.

    “Give it some thought, Sure varieties of artistes receives a commission extra. So, they get the chance to spend extra on influencers and radio play so you’ll hear their music far more.

    “Additionally, I really feel like it’s unfair to have a dialog in regards to the High 3 and never point out somebody like Tems. Are you severe?” she requested.

    DAILY POST experiences that Tems rose to fame in 2020 after her collaboration with Wizkid on ‘Essence’.

    She earned her first Grammy in 2023 for her contribution to ‘Wait For U’ in 2022.

    In 2025, Tems acquired her second Grammy Award within the ‘Greatest African Efficiency’ class.
