    Insecurity: Kogi Govt shuts down markets, motor parks

    The Kogi Authorities has ordered the momentary closure of chosen markets and motor parks within the Kogi West Senatorial District as a part of measures to accentuate and coordinate safety operations.

    Mr Kingsley Fanwo, Commissioner for Info, made the disclosure in an announcement on Sunday in Lokoja.

    Fanwo defined that the federal government’s motion was geared toward flushing out terrorists, bandits, and different felony components working inside the state.

    “Lastly, in Ijumu LGA, the affected markets embody Ayegunle Gbedde, Iyah Gbedde, Ayetoro Gbedde, Ayeh Gbedde, Iluhagba, Odokoro, and Okoro Markets, which is able to stay closed throughout the safety operations,” he stated.
