    Insecurity: Fubara, stakeholders call for decentralised approach, intelligence sharing

    Amid rising safety issues throughout the nation, stakeholders within the South-South geo-political zone have referred to as for a decentralised safety method, improved group–authorities collaboration, and extra sturdy intelligence sharing to raised tackle insecurity within the area and past.

    Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara urged stronger cooperation amongst stakeholders to reinforce peace and stability. The governor, represented by the Secretary to the State Authorities, Dr. Benebo Anabraba, spoke on the South-South Zonal Public Listening to of the Senate Advert-Hoc Committee on the Nationwide Safety Summit, held in Port Harcourt on Thursday. The theme of the summit was “The Method Ahead in Tackling Nationwide Safety Points on the Native Degree.”

    Senate Minority Chief and Chairman of the South-South Safety Summit, Senator Abba Patrick Moro, described the gathering as a chance to raised perceive native dynamics and collectively craft options to safety points.
