    Insecurity: Boko Haram blind to faith, target Muslims, Christians — Ndume

    Senator Ali Ndume (APC, Borno South) has mentioned Boko Haram terrorists are blind to religion as they aim Christians, Muslims in addition to those that don’t consider in both of the 2.

    He appealed to Nigerians particularly the media to withstand the temptation of profiling victims of the phobia gang’s atrocities and unite to defeat the insurgents.

    The federal lawmaker made the enchantment in a press release he issued in Abuja on Wednesday.

    He was reacting to reviews of weekend assaults in Ngoshe village, Gwoza Native Authorities Space and Mussa group in Askira-Uba Native Authorities Areas of Borno State.

    Within the two separate incidents, the insurgents killed 5 farmers in Ngoshe and Mussa villages over the weekend.

    Of these killed, two Muslims have been killed in Ngoshe whereas the three killed in Mussa have been Christians who have been murdered by the phobia gang the next day. Each communities are positioned in Askira-Uba Native Authorities space of Borno State.

    Media reviews point out that the terrorists additionally razed dozens of homes within the two assaults.

    The previous Chairman Senate Committee on Military mentioned, “It’s unethical and unconscionable for any media outlet to drive the narrative that Christians are the targets of those assaults by the phobia group in Borno, or wherever in North Japanese a part of Nigeria.

    “The forces behind these senseless killings are blind to religion and tribe. We should always keep away from this harmful profiling which might distract us. It has the tendency of doing us extra hurt.
