A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Get together, PDP, Bode George, has described the choice by Peter Obi, former presidential candidate of the Labour Get together, and Atiku Abubakar, former Vice President, to kind a coalition forward of the 2027 election as stunning.

He accused Atiku and different PDP stalwarts defecting to the African Democratic Congress, ADC, of fuelling the disaster presently rocking the opposition social gathering.
He acknowledged, “Those that created the PDP disaster are those leaving. We’re holding our NEC assembly within the coming week and after we meet, we’ll talk about the programme of the social gathering.
“We are going to approve all of the committees which can be going to deal with the conference of the social gathering.
“The truth that we’re ready to carry that assembly, you will note on the finish that the Iroko tree has been resurrected.
“I’m shocked that Obi, Atiku, and others are leaping right into a ship that’s already sinking.”
Atiku had on Wednesday officially dumped the PDP for the ADC, citing the never-ending disaster.
