Veteran Afrobeats star Gabriel Oche Amanyi, popularly often known as Terry G, has vowed by no means to retire from music.
The 39-year-old said that he would quite embrace being an up-and-coming artist than quitting music.
He said this whereas responding to critics who slammed him for chasing clout on social media.
On his X deal with, Terry G wrote, “I totally embrace being seen as an upcoming artist. You solely turn out to be a legend whenever you retire—and I’m by no means retiring. So for those who catch me chasing clout, let me be.”
Terry G led a motion of ghetto-leaning music referred to as ‘Road-hop’ within the 2010s, with hit songs like ‘Free Insanity’, ‘Sangalo’, ‘Akpako Grasp’, and ‘Run Mad’ amongst others.
He’s at the moment making an attempt a comeback in a collaboration with Victony titled ‘Tanko.’
