The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, has conformed Governor Sim Fubara’s readiness to return to Rivers State following the suspension of the six-month emergency rule imposed on the state.
In March, President Bola Tinubu suspended Fubara, his deputy, Mrs Ngozi Odu and the state Home of Meeting following a protracted political disaster between the governor and his predecessor.
Fubara was not within the nation when President Tinubu suspended the emergency rule on Wednesday.
Talking throughout an interview on Channels Tv on Thursday, Wike mentioned he has spoken to Fubara and he is able to return to the nation to imagine workplace.
Wike added that he has forgiven Fubara, saying there isn’t any extra battle him between him and his successor.
He mentioned, “I’ve already mentioned that we’ve been talking. I can’t have interaction with a person I’ve not forgiven. All the pieces is over. I’m not a politician who says one factor at this time and one other tomorrow. We should transfer ahead.
“Sadly, there are individuals who don’t need peace. Right now, I watched people twisting the legislation, claiming illegality within the conduct of native authorities elections.
