Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, has travelled to the USA to attend the marriage of his nephew and famend music artist, David Adeleke, popularly often called Davido.
Will probably be recalled that Davido confirmed he and his spouse, Chioma Avril Rowland, are set to carry their white wedding ceremony in Miami, Florida, in August 2025.
He made this announcement throughout an interview on The Breakfast Membership, which aired on Tuesday, April 8, 2025.
The governor’s spokesperson, Olawale Rasheed, confirmed Adeleke’s journey in a press release launched on Tuesday, addressing considerations raised by the opposition All Progressives Congress relating to the governor’s whereabouts.
“Governor Adeleke left Nigeria for the USA by way of the household’s personal jet a number of days in the past for the marriage of the worldwide music icon, his beloved nephew, David Adeleke.
“His Excellency is extending an invite to the opposition social gathering to attend the occasion and share within the pleasure of the event with the Adeleke household.
“These unable to attend could be a part of just about,” Rasheed acknowledged.
He identified that since taking workplace in November 2022, Adeleke had not taken any official depart, and emphasised that the present journey could be temporary.
