    Gov Zulum denies defection to ADC, reaffirms loyalty to APC

    Borno State Governor, Professor Babagana Umara Zulum, has refuted claims suggesting he’s planning to defect from the All Progressives Congress, APC, to the African Democratic Congress, ADC, describing the hypothesis as false and politically motivated.

    In a press release issued by his spokesperson, Dauda Iliya, the governor mentioned the hearsay, which surfaced on some on-line platforms, was a baseless fabrication geared toward inflicting pointless political rigidity.

    “We’ve got change into conscious of a fictitious and mischievous social media report circulating in sure quarters, alleging plans by me to decamp from the All Progressives Congress, APC, to the African Democratic Congress, ADC, alongside 5 different governors,” the assertion learn.

    Zulum dismissed the declare because the handiwork of people he described as detractors with no significant contributions to the progress of Borno State or the nation.

    “That is totally false and exists solely within the creativeness of its sponsors,” he said, including: “It’s a basic instance of low cost, politically motivated hypothesis designed solely to distract us.”

    He reiterated his unwavering loyalty to the APC and restated his dedication to the event of Borno State.

    “My loyalty to the APC stays agency and my dedication is solely to the welfare and progress of Borno State. We’ve got no time for reasonable politics; our palms are full with the noble process of rebuilding and growing our expensive state,” he added.

    Zulum additionally urged media retailers and the general public to depend on credible sources for verified data and never fall for the techniques of political detractors.
