The Lagos State Hearth and Rescue Service says it has rescued 9 casualties from the fireplace on the six-storey constructing on Afriland Tower, Broad Avenue, Lagos Island.
The Deputy Controller-Common of the company, Mr Ogabi Olajide, made this recognized in an announcement on Tuesday in Lagos.
He acknowledged that 9 victims had been rescued in whole, out of which 5 had been efficiently resuscitated.
“A complete of 9 victims have been rescued, with 5 people efficiently resuscitated.
“A number of others escaped unharmed whereas efforts are presently ongoing to resuscitate the remaining 4 people, ” he mentioned.
In line with him, the incident was reported at precisely 1:38 p.m., and hearth crews closest to the scene had been instantly deployed there.
“After a name was acquired, hearth crews from Ebute Elefun Hearth Station and Sari Iganmu Hearth Station responded.
