Yoruba Generalissimo, Iba Gani Adams, has warned Yoruba conventional rulers that ego fights represent a serious impediment to unity inside the race.
That is as he harassed the necessity for unity amongst conventional rulers of Yoruba extraction in a bid to curb exterior infiltration of the area.
Talking on the 2026 Oodua Competition held at Enuwa Sq., Ile-Ife, Osun State, on Thursday, themed: “Tradition, Creativity, Arts and Nation Constructing”, he emphasised the necessity for conventional rulers to cease the supremacy battle which threatens to tear the race aside.
His phrases, “I’m duty-bound to sound the alarm that this ugly growth threatens the cultural heritage, social cohesion, and developmental prospects of the Yoruba folks. The extent of disunity is now alarming. I respectfully name on all our conventional rulers to jettison the supremacy battles which can be threatening to tear us aside.
