    Damagum’s camp fires back, says defectors betrayed PDP; faults court rulings

    ABUJA — Supporters of the Peoples Democratic Celebration (PDP) Nationwide Working Committee (NWC), led by Nationwide Chairman Ambassador Iliya Damagum, have condemned the latest wave of defections by some elected officers, describing the event as destabilising and dangerous to social gathering unity.

    In addition they criticised what they termed “doubtful and predictable” courtroom judgments, saying such rulings have additional deepened the disaster inside the opposition social gathering.

    Nevertheless, they criticised some judges whose rulings they described as predictable, saying this undermines public confidence within the judiciary.
