The Peoples Democratic Social gathering (PDP) Nationwide Conference is underway in Ibadan, as leaders of the social gathering have acquired the flags of the social gathering, the Nigerian nationwide flag, and the Nationwide Conference Flag, amongst others.
Nationwide Chairman of the PDP Amb. Ilya Damagum acquired the flag of the PDP, whereas the Chairman of the Nationwide Conference and Governor of Adamawa, Governor Umaru Fintiri, acquired the Nationwide Conference Flag.
Governor of Bauchi State and Chairman of the PDP Governors’ Discussion board, Senator Bala Mohammed, acquired the Nigerian Flag, with the Host Governor, Seyi Makinde, receiving the Oyo State Flag.
Different leaders who acquired flags on the occasion have been the Senate Minority Chief, Senator Abba Moro, who acquired the flag of the Senate and Hon. Fred Agbedi, who acquired the Home of Representatives Flag.
The Conference started with the accreditation of over 3,000 delegates, who converged on Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.
The accreditation course of for delegates from throughout the 36 states of the Federation and the Federal Capital Territory, which is preparatory to the voting train, began within the afternoon.
Ibadan has been agog since Friday as social gathering devoted from throughout the nation berthed within the political capital of the South-West, Nigeria.
Earlier, the Chief Host and Governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde, had on Friday hosted a dinner, which was attended by PDP Governors, former Governors, BoT Chairman, Senator Adolphus Wabara and the social gathering’s Nationwide Working Committee.
Amongst these in attendance on the dinner have been Governors of Adamawa, Bauchi, Rivers, Zamfara, former Governors Olagunsoye Oyinlola, and Ibrahim Dankwambo.
