    CVR: INEC denies alleged underage voter registration in Osun

    The allegation, shared on Fb, claimed that schoolchildren wearing uniforms had been registered on the INEC Native Authorities Workplace in Ede North on Friday, February 6, 2026.

    In an announcement by the Resident Electoral Commissioner, Mutiu Agboke, and issued by Musa Olurode, the Public Affairs Officer, on Monday in Osogbo, INEC Osun described the declare as false and deceptive.

    INEC confirmed that some college students of YTD Grammar College, Ojoro, Ede, arrived on the Ede North workplace at school uniforms with the intention of registering.
