Anambra State-born businessman and philanthropist, Obinna Iyiegbu, popularly often called Obi Cubana, has been conferred with a prestigious chieftaincy title within the State.
In a press release personally issued on Sunday, Iyiegbu, chairman of the Cubana Group, introduced that he was honoured with the title Ife-Igbo-Ji-Ka-Mba by the Enugwu-Ukwu na Umunri Conventional Council.
The ceremony happened earlier on Saturday within the historic city of Enugwu-Ukwu.
In accordance with the assertion, the title was conferred by the standard ruler, Igwe Ralph Obumneme Ekpe, in recognition of Iyiegbu’s accomplishments in enterprise, philanthropy and his contributions to advancing Igbo tradition and excellence.
