CAF President Patrice Motsepe has revealed that Grammy-winning Nigerian singer Burna Boy confronted surprising challenges upon arriving at a Moroccan airport not too long ago on his strategy to headline the TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) Fan Zone live performance in Rabat.
The CAF President disclosed throughout a current press convention that the Nigerian music star was held on the airport by customized officers over a jewelry concern.
Motsepe defined that the problem was resolved amicably after he intervened.
“Lately was referred to as that I want interven as a result of Burna Boy was stopped on the airport after customs officers seen his heavy and exquisite gold jewelry. I intervened and it was resolved,” he shared.
Burna Boy headlined the TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) Fan Zone live performance in Rabat on January 16.
