The Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Rashidi Ladoja, has urged campaigners advocating the creation of a New Oyo State, with Oyo as its proposed capital, to place their home so as in the event that they hope to understand their ambition.
Receiving the Committee on the Creation of Ibadan and New Oyo State on the Olubadan Palace, Oke-Aremo, Ibadan, yesterday, Oba Ladoja famous that whereas the creation of an Ibadan State is likely to be extra easy, disagreements over the title or potential capital of the proposed New Oyo State may develop into a stumbling block.
