    Benue killings: Tinubu orders military to restore order, urges Alia to reconcile warring factions

    President Bola Tinubu has directed safety chiefs to implement his earlier directive to deliver lasting peace and safety to Benue State following renewed violence within the area.
    Presidential Spokesman Bayo Onanuga introduced in an announcement on Sunday that the President renewed his order in response to the most recent spherical of reprisal assaults that resulted in a number of deaths.
    Following the presidential directive, intelligence chiefs, police, and army personnel have been deployed to the state to supervise safety operations and restore order.
