The All Progressives Congress, APC, Youths Council, Taraba State Chapter, has rejected the reported defection of governor Agbu Kefas to the ruling APC, describing the transfer as unacceptable and opposite to the beliefs of the celebration.
In a press release issued on Thursday in Jalingo, the council stated youth leaders from throughout the state convened and unanimously handed a vote of no confidence on the governor, insisting that his political ideology and management type don’t align with the progressive ideas of the APC.
“We, the youths of APC in Taraba State, unanimously reject the defection of Governor Agbu Kefas into our nice celebration. He isn’t a progressive chief, and APC is just not a celebration for his caliber. Our stand is evident we’re not in help of his coming,” Musa acknowledged.
Signed by its State Coordinator, Bilyamin Musa, the group accused governor Kefas of missing imaginative and prescient and capability, alleging that his two years in workplace had not yielded any significant growth in Taraba State.
The council additionally urged the nationwide management of the APC to take heed to the considerations of Taraba youths and make sure that the celebration remained a platform for visionary, disciplined, and development-driven leaders.
Reaffirming their loyalty to the APC and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration, the youths pledged continued dedication to strengthening the celebration and mobilizing help for its success throughout the state.
