Onyinyechi Basil, representing Anambra State, has been topped Miss Universe Nigeria 2025.
The 25-year-old was introduced because the winner of the nationwide magnificence pageant in the course of the grand finale on Saturday night in Lagos State.
Basil outshone 21 different contestants to succeed the 2024 winner, Chidimma Adetishina.
Talking on the occasion, the newly topped queen mentioned, “I would like younger ladies to know that they’ll obtain extra, and nonetheless rejoice their cultural identification.”
Following her victory, DAILY POST studies that Basil will likely be representing Nigeria on the international Miss Universe 2025 competitors.
Miss Lagos, Damilola Bolarinde, emerged as first runner-up, whereas Fortune Kurobo, representing Bayelsa, completed as second runner-up, and Miss Ogun, Irene Ikediashi, grew to become third runner-up.
