Nigerian rapper Tochukwu Ojogwu, popularly referred to as Odumodublvck, has spoken extensively on the injustice black individuals face, claiming that black-on-black injustice was an even bigger problem than racism.
He argued that regardless of racism in America, it’s now a greater place for black individuals than Africa, which is dominated by black individuals.
Talking in a current interview with BET, Odumodublvck claimed that the injustice black individuals have suffered in America can’t be in comparison with the one black individuals have suffered within the arms of fellow blacks in Africa.
“We can not deny the truth that America is now a greater place for black individuals. The issues that black individuals have suffered in America will not be in comparison with the issues that black individuals have suffered within the arms of black individuals in Africa,” he claimed.
Odumodublvck’s claims sparked combined reactions on social media, with many berating him for “making an attempt to downplay” the injustice black individuals undergo in America by evaluating it to the black-on-black injustice in Africa.
Others opined that it’s unfair to match struggling, particularly in numerous environments.
