Former Tremendous Eagles ahead Daniel Amokachi has revealed why his Tunisian spouse married him.
Amokachi spoke forward of Nigeria’s AFCON group stage fixture with Tunisia on Saturday evening.
The previous Everton and Membership Brugge participant met his spouse on the 1994 AFCON, which was hosted by Tunisia and received by Nigeria.
“Sure, my spouse has a Tunisian passport, however I do know she and my little woman shall be cheering the green-white-green,” Amokachi informed SuperSport.
“They like Nigeria, that’s the reason she married me.”
Amokachi has beforehand coached the Tremendous Eagles of Nigeria, serving as assistant coach and later as interim coach.
