Senegal head coach, Pape Thiaw has insisted that Africa’s picture is at stake as his group prepares to face Morocco within the AFCON closing on Sunday evening.
Thiaw spoke throughout his pre-match press convention, calling on spectators and match officers to not spoil the AFCON closing.
Senegal and Morocco had defeated Egypt and Nigeria, respectively, on the semi-final stage.
“At present, it’s the picture of Africa that’s at stake,” Thiaw stated at his pre-match press convention.
“We should not spoil it. Taking part in the host nation isn’t simple due to the gang, however on the pitch, it’s 11 towards 11.”
This comes because the Confederation of African Soccer, CAF, on Saturday, responded to Senegal’s complaints towards Morocco forward of the AFCON closing on Sunday evening.
