A former presidential aspirant of the Peoples Democratic Get together, PDP, Gbenga Olawepo-Hashim, has dismissed the African Democratic Congress (ADC) as a reputable various for the 2027 elections, describing its key gamers as a part of the nation’s issues.
Talking on Channels TV’s Politics At the moment on Wednesday, Hashim-Olawepo stated that, aside from a couple of exceptions, most ADC leaders have been linked to earlier administrations.
He blamed them for insecurity, financial challenges, and the politicization of faith in Northern Nigeria.
He defined that many leaders within the ADC, in addition to these within the DPP, have been a part of previous administrations he described as problematic, notably throughout the Buhari authorities.
He stated, “Many of the gamers within the ADC have been a part of the current downside. Aside from Peter Obi and Atiku, the ADC parts are all Buhari’s.”
“They’re a part of the issue, the issue of weaponizing faith in Northern Nigeria, insecurity, and a bankrupt economic system. They have been a part of the issue.”
Hashim-Olawepo added that in search of alternate options from events he believes contributed to previous governance failures can be counterproductive.
“You can not go from the frying pan into the fireplace. So, don’t go from PDP to ADC,” he confused.
