The Actors Guild of Nigeria, AGN, has suspended Nollywood actress Shirley Igwe following allegations that she assaulted a crew member on a movie set.
Experiences point out that Igwe allegedly slapped a member of the Inventive Designers Guild of Nigeria, CDGN, throughout a manufacturing, prompting swift disciplinary motion from the AGN.
In a press release issued to its state chapter chairmen and the nationwide chairman, the Guild introduced that Igwe had been positioned on indefinite suspension pending additional investigation.
The AGN acknowledged that the suspension was attributable to “violence, and indiscipline actions able to discrediting the performing occupation.”
The assertion additional directed: “Members are hereby directed to chorus from collaborating in any movie manufacturing involving her.”
