Hajiya Hassana Shuaibu Dada, Assistant Nationwide Youth Chief (North Central) of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), has strongly condemned what she described as politically pushed, selective prosecutions focusing on former Lawyer-Common of the Federation Abubakar Malami and former Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai.
In an official assertion launched Wednesday, Dada accused the Financial and Monetary Crimes Fee (EFCC) of orchestrating these actions as deliberate makes an attempt to undermine the ADC, which she mentioned poses a rising problem to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
“The selective prosecutions of our leaders, Hon. Abubakar Malami and Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, by way of the EFCC are clearly politically motivated efforts to weaken the ADC as a result of we characterize an actual different to the ruling celebration,” Dada said.
She expressed full solidarity with the affected leaders and ADC members throughout the nation, asserting that such techniques would fail to intimidate the celebration.
“These efforts won’t intimidate us; as a substitute, they may solely strengthen our unity and resolve,” she added.
Dada emphasised the ADC’s unwavering dedication to justice, inclusion, and nationwide renewal, whereas urging Nigerians to remain vigilant and rally behind the celebration as a reputable platform for good governance and progress.
