    Rivers: NDLEA officer killed in Bonny Island drug raid, six arrested

    The Nationwide Drug Regulation Enforcement Company mentioned on Tuesday that its operatives have raided a infamous drug enclave often called Ama Hausa in Bonny Island, Rivers State, the place six suspects had been arrested and a major cache of illicit substances, together with cocaine, heroin, methamphetamine, skunk, and tramadol, was recovered.

    He mentioned, “I salute the gallantry of our males who refused to be intimidated by these felony parts.

    “Even after the cowardly assault on Mujahid, our operatives ensured that the assailants had been overpowered and arrested, and their illicit substances confiscated. Their sacrifice is not going to be in useless.”

    Whereas mourning the lack of Mujahid, Marwa described him as a disciplined and brave officer who paid the final word value within the service of his fatherland.

    “We prolong our deepest condolences to his household, his colleagues, and the Rivers State Command.”

    “Any assault on our officers is an assault on the state, and it’ll not go with out dire penalties.

    “We stay undeterred in our mission to rid Nigeria of illicit medicine, and we’ll proceed to take the battle to the enclaves of those retailers of loss of life,” the NDLEA boss warned.
